momoceio Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Anyone else have to mod their radgrillz because the holes don't align with the holes on their radiator? I thought 360mm rads pretty much had the same layout between manufacturers...maybe I'm wrong. If so, what do you use to get the holes lined up? They not off by a lot but enough to need modifying...I'm trying to mount my BI Xtreme III. Thanks for any help... PS: It's not the Radgrillz for the thermochill, I already double checked that. radodrill Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Almost all radiators will use a standard pattern for the screwhole placement. Theoretically, if the tolerance for the holes in the rad are 0.5mm and 0.5mm for the grill; they could be off by up to 1mm, which in some cases would require re-drilling etc.
momoceio Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Some of the holes line up fine by some are off almost by a whole "hole" if you get what I'm saying :tooth: I'll just try drilling the holes out and if that doesn't work I'll just buy another one and retry...ugh
