Guest Radiohead Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 I've recently noticed that my RDX is behaving poorly and am wondering if its a chipset issue. I have been useing this machine predominantly for folding and have noticed that its frame times are far greater than my NF4 DFI setups. Its running a 3800X2 at 2.4 GHZ and has pretty much since I assembled it way back when. Crunching the same unit on another box the frame times are 25 minutes but on the RDX crunching the same unit the frame times are close to 90 minutes. The memory GSkill 3200 is running at 218, FSB 240 and the HT multi is set at 4X. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't see any other processes running in the task manager that would account for the increased frame times.
Guest Lavell Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I just found out that DFI has an updated BIOS for this board. Go get it and it might fix the problem. http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bio..._FLAG=B&SITE=US
