kipper123 Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I would like to know if anyone is using or have used this rad. EHX-1000BK Internal 1kW Radiator & Fans/Shroud and what you think about it.
radodrill Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I'm an avid activist against using Koolance. Top reason being that they use aluminum radiators and aluminum in their waterblocks. When Aluminum and copper/brass are mixed in a H2O loop, galvanic corrosion occurs and deteriorates the components; this is evidenced by the fact that Koolance's fluid is >40% glycol based to act as a corrosion inhibitor. momoceio Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Not to mention their products are WAYY over priced. Alphacool, Swiftech, or HW labs are the 3 radiator makers that seem to have the best rep.

The three best I always hear are Thermochill, Swiftech, and Hardware Labs

I've read about not using aluminum in the system thank's for the help. In their product specs it clearly states what materials are used for their various components.
