FireLite 160GB external USB drive does not work

Recommended Posts

I have a DFI Lanparty NF3 Ultra D based system. I just picked up a FireLite 160GB USB drive to transfer video between this machine and my laptop. The drive works in my laptop, but will not run when plugged into the front USB ports on the NF3 board. My guess is the ports are limited to 100mAH instead of 500mAH, but I can't find anything in the specs. Is there a jumper or BIOS setting that can be adjusted? Thanks.

Hello,

Does the drive appear to get any power?

Does windows detect that something is plugged into the USB port?

What happens if you remove all the other USB devices and plug it in the port that you use with your keyboard?
