schoolslave Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 FSBcalc V1.0 Alright so here goes, being the nerd that I am I wrote this little utility to help those that are confused with dividers and such. It's pretty simple and it can help you plan out an overclock in advance. You can give it a try here. Let me now if there's any problems. Planned Future Additions: Detailed system read-out Temperatures (this might be a bit harder to implement) .........
momoceio Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Cool, did you write this in vb.net?
schoolslave Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 No, I wrote it in vB5 and compiled it with vB6. I plan on doing a vb.net version in the future.
momoceio Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Dang, VB5 is old school :tooth:
schoolslave Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 lol, yea but I heard vb.net is a bit buggy. And I'm more familiar with vb5, but I still want to try a vb.net version later on.
ShadeZeRO Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Good utility for newer users... If I could make a suggestion, don't worry about the flashy colors, the bright blue is kinda annoying. I'm assuming this is for newer chipsets anyways.
schoolslave Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 What color would you want it to be then?
MACarter02 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Something less bright. X_X That blue is a bit hard on the eyes. Cool btw, I'll use it. Oh, maybe you should include the 1:2....7:10, etc in the dividers. Not sure all bios' have speeds rather than ratios in the menu. momoceio Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Do you have the source code you'd be willing to share?
schoolslave Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I'll definitely incorporate those dividers, not sure about sharing the source code yet.lol. I want to mess around with it some more and get some more things integrated.
