anyway i had my first legal drink, before this i just had a little of each, like a few sips, ya know.

first drink, budweiser and it was f*cking nasty as hell. my throat still burns and i only had 1 bottle.

is there ANYONE on this planet that hates alcohol? if you do join with me and unite against this crappy tasting stuff. SODA ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!! :-)

It's good that you dont like Alcohol....

It will be cheaper for you in the end...and maybe a healthier choice and long as you dont venture to other recreational devices....

When I was yonger I used to love to drink but only till I got that total body numb feeling....it didnt take much but then over time it took more and more to get there and ultimately caused health issues all before I was 30 years old....Diabetes.....

it doesn't happen to everyone but it can happen I was just one of the unlucky ones but we all know our fate before we start right....? we just choose to ignore it....

(man firefox is awesome for spell checking post)

The thing I see is some kids are dying to get a drink....I just seems we all drink before we are of age just because....but them when we reach the age we cut loose and bad things can happen....it does alot around here...bad things...

Dont get me wrong I still enjoy and occasional Beer but I dont drink more than a few at any given time because I dont want to have to deal with any of the cons that can happen....;)

yikes harsh crowd. i dunno, i guess i just dont like that bitter taste that beer has

Then you definitely don't want to try 'good' beer as it has a much stronger taste. Stick with weak ones like Busch or Keystone Light if you feel you must drink.

I'm not a big fan of beer either, especially wasn't back in the day. I can't possibly bring myself to have one casually or with a meal because it just ruins the taste of food. People that cook with beer baffle me - if you can put beer in something and have it taste halfway decent then you could NOT put the beer in it and have it taste better!

In any case, the only time I drink beer is when I'm trying to get drunk. I don't have time for seafood-footing around and just having a couple. Note that beer does tend to taste better after you've had a few. Of all of the ones I've tried there is only one that stands alone as tasting good in the right situation, that being Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat.

Remember that older people generally like stronger beers simply because they have fewer taste buds.

As for liquors...I hate rum. I dislike tequila. Vodka is my drink of choice, whiskey if I don't have any vodka. Gin...gin is a special occasion only sort of thing. I like it sometimes, hate it other times.

Oh, and this is assuming that I'm drinking this stuff straight. I don't like mixing, you know, because of the seafood-foot again.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say NOBODY likes alcohol the first time they try it. With the exception of weak fruity mixed drinks, maybe some girly Smirnoff Ice, or some other such thing, they all taste bad.

Until you drink more of it. Years of binge drinking in college 'fixed' me. Wish I had all the money back I spent on it though.

Don't take it as a bad thing that you don't like it. Hell, the only reason I drink is because it's the only legal drug - and easy as hell to attain.
