Which 802.11n draft NIC are you using?

It's rediculous to buy draft N anything and I'm pissed at all of the vendors for ever making any of it. All this draft . is going to screw up the final 802.11n because everyone is going to end up making their prodcuts "draft n compatible" instead of dumping all the draft junk and making it how it should be. Kinda like windows.

Once it gets ratified I'll probably go CISCO, just because thats what the rest of my equipment is. But until the final standard comes out I'm gonna steer clear of the whole mess.

After using several different .11n NICS and routers and I'm not impressed the slightest.

How did you manage that and what kind of throughput were you actually getting?

Probably because it's not a ratified standard all of the manufacturers can crap in a box and call it pre-n :tooth:

That is easily done as Linksys is part of Cisco.

 

I probably should have asked "which wireless router brand and 802.11x standard/draft are you using?" in the poll instead of the question I posed.

 

I was curious as to experiences what other forum members have had with wireless.
