heya all my mate refered me to the people on this forum who might be able to help me with timing setting as im getting bsod and programs closing randomly my board and ram is dfi lanparty nf4 ultra-d and KVR400X64C3A/512 512MB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL3

 

 

any help wud be great

Hello,

 

First you must make sure that you have 4 power connectors plugged into the board.

- 24pin ATX connector

- 4pin +12v P4 connector

- Molex power connector located on top of the chipset fan

- Smaller molex connector located under the CPU socket

 

Do you have just the one memory stick or two?

- For one stick place it in the top orange memory slot (slot closer to edge of board).

- For two sticks, use both orange slots.

 

Have you tried running memtest yet?

Use these BIOS settings and let memtest run for at least 3 hours.

If you get any errors instantly stop, and if you have two sticks try one at a time in the top orange slot.

Again let memtest run for at least 3 hours, if it errors instantly stop and report back here.
