925X-T2 Wont POST / load BIOS / no Display

Have a 925x-t2 moterboard with 4x 1GB geil ultra ddr2-533 ram and 3.8P4

 

have tried basics only - gfx card, ram, proc and psu but board wont post, no display, led's hang with 2 and 4 illuminated / or all 4 illuminated

 

have tried multiple psu's, one 450 and a 500

 

have tried clearing CMOS and replacing battery but no luck

 

no change if attaching a cd drive with a boot cd in

 

does the board need rma'ing? could this bea dodgy bios? no display so can't check version, is it possible to flash bios with no display?

A trick that always cleared this up for me was to clear the CMOS with a PCI (not PCI-e) GFX card then power it up; shut her back down and put the PCI-e GFX back in. If that doesn't take care of it then it's probably a bad GFX card.
