Hello,

Depending on how the boot order is setup, it may hang like that.

Download the bootable iso.zip.

http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

Extract files.

Burn the ISO. (Do you know how to burn an Image/ISO to CD?)

Then boot from this CD and it will run a program called memtest.

This will test the memory for errors.

Let the program run for at least 3 hours, if you get any errors instantly stop.

(errors will come up as red lines/error count)

Error may mean that your memory is faulty or it is not getting enough power.

What power supply are you using?
