red930 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Finally a version that works with my Nvidia cards. The original version only worked with my ATI 3850 card. Bill
Guest r3d c0m3t Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 My new validation complete with overclock, and it's about time because the previous version I was using caused the screen to black out when I opened it while ATI Tool was running. http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/56sbq/

RubberDuck Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 There is a version out --> v0.1.5 <-- Online BIOS submission dupecheck now actually works More changes to G70/G71 ROP/shader detection code (never ending story) G71 AGP is now 90nm instead of 110nm If default clocks on NVIDIA can not be determined via BIOS, try fallback via driver Better driver communication to NVIDIA driver Corrected shader detection for softmodded R300, R480 cards Known issue: NVIDIA SLI status can not be detected under Vista
red930 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Revision History 0.1.7 Corrected several GeForce 9600 GT readings Switched GPU and PCB temperature readings on ATI cards when using LM63 sensor Some fields on the main screen will now show grey "unknown" instead of "0" when value unknown Fixed HD 2900 GT ROP and shader count Added HD 3850 AGP detection Added 8400 GS detection Fixed shader count on modded/unmodded R420 cards Added Rage LT Pro detection Fixed RS300 vertex shader count NOW......I have two systems running the latest Intel Processors along with nVIDIA's 8800 series graphic cards (GT and GTS 320) that have problems with GPU-Z. I double click the application, see the glass bar on the cursor than disappears, nothing loads. I look into the processes and see GPU-Z running. I have ended the process for GPU-Z and have tried running it again, same thing nothing. Sometimes though i can still use the OS after running GPU-Z without it loading but will only last a short period of time (less than a minute) before the system becomes unstable than freeze, can't even shutdown or reboot. Now on my other AMD Opteron system with an X1950XTX graphic card it works everytime like a charm. I have the same Anti-Spyware/Virus/Firewall applications running on all three systems. One Intel system is running SP3 RC2 3311 and the other two are running SP2, but doesn't really matter obviously. Not sure what the #&%^ is going on but this is starting to #$%^in' piss me off. From the first version to the lastest same #$%^ over and over again. WTF?
