Halo is just another FPS, and we were playing FPS on computers LOOOOONG before Halo came out.

Halo was ok until it got repetitive. Plus controllers on consoles playing FPS games sucks total butt.

Halo2 I played about 2 hours worth until I started getting ultra violent headaches from trying to control the game with a controller (I'm being serious...controllers on FPS games give me very very bad headaches, like it messes with my inner ear or something)

Halo3...I'm interested in a sense, but not until it comes to PC with mouse/keyboard controls.

I think Crysis is much overrated as well.

I'd at least respect Halo 3 if they had bothered to, I dunno, actually USE some of the 360's power for the game.

It shows a pretty serious lack of care for their customers. Just because you KNOW the game will sell really well no matter what doesn't mean you don't try to improve it. And hell, maybe bring some new customers in at the same time.

If the single player mission gets a decent rating I might rent it sometime, otherwise I'll probably never touch it.

Dont touch it. Believe me the games looks terrible. It plays like Halo has always played. You continue to backtrack your way through missions. I cant believe I bought it.

I enjoyed Halo 1 and 2. I dont care for the online because of the insane amount of foul language used when playing halo, so the only thing I have to look forward to is "finishing the fight" and I will do it with my eyes closed.

The terrain looks like something out of BF2, the character models look like the original Halo. The guns still look the same. The environments are filled with jaggies...

Im very disappointed to say the least. BioShock and Gears of War were very great looking games and both of them combined had maybe half the hype and anticipation Halo 3 had. And yet Halo 3 really didnt deliver.

If you want to play it, rent it first.

I have never played "Halo"; any version! I was going to try the original Halo because of all of the hype. Now, however, I don't think that I will waste my money.

Same here, I was going to get it because I have never played the game before. I had a feeling it was overhyped when I saw the commercials in between the show I was wathching on tv. Glad I went for the World In Conflict dvd.

Yeah, I can honestly say I've never played any of the Halo series. Never really got into FPS's on the game consoles either.

I bought Halo 1 when I got my 360 but I have yet to play it. Just from the insane amount of hype it has received I can't imagine any game being that good but I also can't judge without playing it.

For me GoldenEye WAS (and still is) worth the hype but part of that was having tons of friends to play with and talk trash to. Now that I'm out of school and most of my friends have moved on in one way or another it really wouldn't be a fair comparison. Though that being said, Gears of War was definitely worth the hype.

Got me curious now, I may just have to go home and plug it in and give it a whirl. A good game should stand out regardless of having a . load of free time to game and a room full of friends.

I rented the game on tuesday and I am almost done with the game. It was fun, but I never played any of the other one. I dont plan on it ether. I am glad I did not buy the game as it is short, 10hr maybe. Once I beat a game I realy dont play it over. Unless it is HL2! :)
