fan speed

there are two seperate wires/ plugs on my Tuniq 120 fan , one i plug into the "cpu fan" on m/b but the other one which i think is called a "Reheostat" i dont know where to plug it in ,

if it is ment to be plugged into a speed controler then i dont have one,i think that one is supplied with a brand new retail Tuniq 120 , so my question regarding this is that if i dont have the fan plugged into the fan controler what speed will my fan be running at ?? and if it is not running at top speed then how could i get it to run at full speed without a fan controler

If you don't have a fan controller, when you plug your fan in, it will run at the default voltage (top speed).

The purpose of a rheostat is to reduce the voltage reaching the fan motor, thereby slowing the fan down.
