Thasp Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I am looking at prices and some of it is ridiculous.. $2.50-$3/foot, WTF? this . is rubber tubing, not silver! I need maybe 20 feet for my latest project.
Angry_Games Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Tygon is the best which is why it is the most expensive go to Lowes or Home Depot or your local hardware/plumbing store and see what they have
radodrill Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 The PVC tubing (e.g. Masterkleer, Clearflex) clouds up a lot faster than the Tygon.
Thasp Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Does cloudiness effect performance, or just looks? saving money > sexy setup If it effects performance I'll get the tygon. My local stores look at me funny when I ask for this. I live in a a part of NY where I have to go over a bridge just to buy a computer motherboard, of any type. I'll probably suck it up and buy the tygon. Thanks all.
AnUnknownSource Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 UncleDavid was selling like 50' of black tygon before, dont know what size it was.. thought it was 7/16 which would be even better choice for 1/2" barbs... you should see if he still has it or if he used it somehow on his new car :tooth: also check out smallparts.com they have a lot of useful watercooling stuff...
