New heatsink fan = unstable?

I just upgraded from a Thermaltake Venus 12 to a Big Typhoon. Now my system crashes within a minute on Prime 95 and Orthos. Yesterday, I ran Prime 95 on both cores for over 15 hours. At first I thought I just didn't have it tightened down hard enough on the CPU, but my core temps via Everest are 35 and 38 degrees at idle which is cooler than my last setup. Load keeps them cooler than before also, although it's hard to tell how much cooler because it crashes too soon. Any ideas what I should check?

I tried reseating it but it made no difference. I dropped the overclock by 25 MHz and it made no difference. I dropped the RAM divider from 9/10 to 7/10 and it DID make a difference. When I was replacing the heatsink/fan, I removed the RAM to take a pic of it. I'm going to Ebay the 4x512s and get 2x1024s, so I nneded pics. I put it back in the same slots it came out of, but it must not have liked something I did.
