t_ski Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Start with one stick of ram and only the bare minimum of hardware needed to get the rig going. If you can get into the BIOS, make sure you make adjustments that allow the ram to work properly. t_ski Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 OK, try clearing the CMOS overnight according to the guide here. Try removing the CPU and setting the 100MHz jumper and then when you try to start it use the PC2100. If all that does not work I would say it's a bad board. ebdoradz Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 i meant led #4 was on BTW i got it to boot with a 1700+ a 128mb of pc2100 and a cirius logic 1mb pci video card i then put back the 9800pro in it and no boot still led #4 on .. so i said %%(&%? my 9800pro is dead or the Agp slot is but it boot fine with a 9600XT so i tought the 9800pro was dead i remove the zalman HSF and the AS5 thermalpaste was all all dry/solid i clean all that sucker and put it back on and it boot with the 9800pro i now have to to try the mobile athlon in it and put back the tccd stick if it work i will work from there i will need a couple advice for tweking that memory without taking the board with it .... i will keep youpost Thnx alot Kitfit, t_sky, skinnie and all other that help me out Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
