using the DFI ultra-D Im having freeze ups in BF2 and then recently playing a Video anyway I opened Everest....Which sensor is for the NB chip the Motherboard shows 57* the NB shows 34*.....could the MB actually be the temp fo rthe NB chip??. btw my cpu is 45* full load...

The 57C is probably the chipset temp; you could always open Smartguardian to verify this.

Should be on the MB driver CD; can also be downloaded from DFI in the driver section for your MB.

57*C seems awfully warm for a chipset too. You might need to get a fan on it to cool it down.

That high temp may be the PMW .....it will show CPU, NB and PWM temp in smart guardian.

The 57 degree reading (MB) is the PWMIC.

All my temps are good NB running at 34* cpu 48* full load pwm 60* full load

 

so now me next step is why Im crashing to desktop in game "BF2?"...........
