FX-62 Dual Core 939 with Lan Party nforce4 Ultra-D?

I was looking to upgrade my socket 939 4000+ to an FX-62 Dual Core CPU, should this processor work on an nforce4 Ultra-D motherboard?

If you are referring to this FX 62, no, your board is 939, FX62 is AM2.

So, what is the best processor that this motherboard will support? Will it take ANYTHING that is socket 939? I found a socket 939 AMD FX-60 on eBay... I just want to make sure this motherboard will support it before I buy it.

Yes it does support the FX-60. Is it the best cpu for your mobo ? probably not if you intend to clock it. A look through the listings in the 3g club will show you ony 1 FX-62 at 3gig.

Thanks for the help, guys. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick up that Opteron 185, it seems like it is a huge improvement from my 4000+.
