I just upgraded my drivers from a while ago to 162.18. I was using coolbits but after I installed the drivers I installed coolbits but I cant get to it from that new control panel. I've been hearing people have been using ATI-tool to detect the OC speeds and then set them in NTune but there have been issues with DFI boards and Ntune so I'm not sure exatcly what to do. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

To get CoolBits to work first you have to enable the old control panel.

Fire up RegEdit the go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE NVIDIACorporation Global NvCplApi Policies

Change the value of ContextUIPolicy from 2 (New CP) to 1(Old CP).

After that Left Click the Desktop and cursor up to "NVIDIA Display".

This only works for WinXP.

Viper

I use ATI tool 0.27 b2 to overclock my 8800gts from 500/800 to 617/955 with 162.18 its easy to use works great & it displays the card temp on the toolbar also.
