ericgcollyer Posted July 6, 2007 I am looking for a cleaver way to hide my plasma TV that is sitting on my wall. Any Ideas?
red930 Posted July 9, 2007 Something that jumps to my mind when i read this is a frame used for a painting.
radodrill Posted July 9, 2007 Or have the screen recessed in the wall and have a picture/painting cover it when not in use (Like Robin Masters safe in Magnum PI  )
JackOrlowski Posted July 9, 2007 Yeah why not put a a nice picture frame around it and hook it up to a pc as well and run a slideshow/still pic on it when your not watching it. I would steer clear of any mechanical hideaway solutions as those get insanely expensive real quick and they always break. How big is your plasma screen? ericgcollyer Posted July 9, 2007 The TV is going to be 40'' wide including the non screen part of the TV. I am hanging it over a fireplace in my bedroom which is 40" wide so thats where I want to put it. I like the frame idea, what program can I use that contains minimal setup for a slide show, but also looks relatively decent (i.e. varying transitions and the ken burns effect)? momoceio Posted July 9, 2007 If you're running Vista you can use the Sideshow program...
ericgcollyer Posted July 9, 2007 I was running vista and I REALLY liked that program...Unfortunately it didn't run Adobe Production Studio as well as XP, so I had to switch back for work...
