stocknotclocked Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 (edited) ok put a geforce 4 in place of the 9800 pro and see what the score will be .I said it was a great score but you have to have a good card and a good overclock one of the 2 wont get you a good score.AND futuremark products rely heavily on the hardware graphics for there benchmark scores that was what I was saying basically I wasnt trying to denegrate fanatics score at all I hope no one sees it that way. Anyway we were supposed to put our scores up my 3d 2003 score is 3079 on a AMD 2800+ @ 2158 stock HSF with a 9600 pro 256 with the slow memory ococked too 420 core 420 mem By the way this score had no artifacts present. I will post again when I pick up my new CPU cooler on thurs. PS And I will do a 2001 bench as well. LobbDogg Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 True, they do rely on the Video card mostly, hence why I'm water cooling the GPU, but also as I've started to OC my P4, it has shown good increases in the score as well.
