Mobo Question Time :)

Recommended Posts

ok... I'm again in the market for a mobo. I need a mobo that's good for overclocking... that can support PC2700 ram. I don't know of any good chipsets (i've heard 645dx is the best) so i'm willing to listen. I want a good price too. It also needs to have at least 4 (that's including an extra usb connector thingy) usb ports and at least 2 of them be usb 2.0. Also, it needs to support a 533 fsb. I'll take any suggestions.

I keep getting this fealing of Deja-vu.

A motherboard seek you yes? mmm... Abit and Asus seek you should.

There, talking like Yoda changed things up a bit

Abit - BD7II-RAID

Asus - P4T533 Series

Both have what you are looking for.

ummmmmmm don't know if i posted it, but it needs to support DDR PC2700 ram (have 3 or more dmm slots). I'm thinking about getting a P4S533 with a hercules gaming theatre xp 6.1 sound card. the reason behind the sound card is because its cheap, and the connectors are in the back in stead of the front like the audigy platinum is.
