Technohydra Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 I'm going to guess that the headers on the board for the top ports are low voltage, and that the joystick device uses most of that headers allowance. You may be able to bump that up in bios, or there may be a driver update so that the proper volts get bussed to that header. Only other thing to try is switching to a different onboard USB header and see if that solves it for you.
krazypoloc Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 There is a jumper grouping near the I/O cluster section of your Mobo. It has to do with USB voltage control, I think you can give it additional voltage by changing jumpers. Its right below the audio I/O jumpers. Its in the manual, you should give it a shot. Technohydra Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Doh, that's right, it's probably set to run on the standby power rail. If there's a jumper for that, switching it will fix the problem.
