Xolias Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 in my bios there is an option for when the cpu fan turns off completely, and when it is on normal speed, and full speed. Anyway the lowest temp I can go before it turns off is 25, so whenever it gets to 25 it shuts off, then shortly goes on again. Is there a way I can disable it ever turning off? So I don't have to deal with the fan booting down and up all the time, ruining my MBM5 fan speeds and frustrating me.
uneedav8 Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 It looks like 25c is the lowest setting......they should offer a disable setting in there. What I did was hook of the fan power connector straight to the PSU and used the 3rd wire connected to the MB CPU fan header to sense fan RPM. uneedav8 Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 How would I go about doing that? http://www.svc.com/3pinto4pinad1.html This would be the cleanest way but I usually just slice together some old power connectors and some fan headers to make them.
