ReelFiles Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 I think you forgot the CPU cooler and a MozartTX to put all that crap in With that many hard drives, you might as well get a SATA RAID Array High density unit features 42 drives and up to 31.5TB in only 4U, Only $1,400 per terabyte. http://www.rad-direct.com/Product-SATABeas...-RAID-Array.htm

General Septem Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 I could think of better things to spend 10G's on... like and IRA or something... I know a guy who could make ten million in the stock market in five years with it. I think you forgot the CPU cooler and a MozartTX to put all that crap in Yeah, I forgot to mention the price doesn't include about $500 worth of DD parts. The Lian-Li holds more drives than the Mozart, though. With that many hard drives, you might as well get a SATA RAID Array High density unit features 42 drives and up to 31.5TB in only 4U, Only $1,400 per terabyte. http://www.rad-direct.com/Product-SATABeas...-RAID-Array.htm That would certainly go well with the quixotic nature of the rest of the system. ReelFiles Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 I see, I overlooked the case. I could add a few drive cages to the right side of my case though
OsamaBinAthlon+ Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 how u gonna run SLI with hacked drivers?
General Septem Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 how u gonna run SLI with hacked drivers? I didn't give much thought to that since I'm not seriously going to drop $10,000 or even a tenth of that at this point for a new system But yes, theoretically I guess I'd have to use hacked drivers.
