delemon Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Has anyone seen one of these in action?? This thing is an absolute beast to look at. The only review I could find at this point is here at Modders-Inc.com. Seems to run about $35-$50 or so depending on vendor.
Voltes-5 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I have one and it is really huge. It performs on par with my Nautilus water cooling. Here, check this thread out. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showth...ghlight=GeminII
delemon Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Wish I knew if it would fit on an SLI-DR! I have a SI-120, but was thinking of throwing my Opty 148 into a backup system so I'd want to get something for that (or put my SI-120 in there and replace on my main rig). Did you notice if it made any difference in cooling your NB/SB or RAM at all? Being as large as it is, I can't see how it couldn't help a little. Voltes-5 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 To be honest with you, I did not notice any temp improvement with the NB, and as far as the ram goes the two fans on the Gemin does blow over the ram with my Infinity. It should be the same with your SLI-DR.

General Septem Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Wish I knew if it would fit on an SLI-DR! It will not.
Thasp Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 If you're using a tuniq tower, no amount of exhaust or intake fans are going to make up for the burning mosfets and ram.. if I don't put a fan on the ram in my tuniq'd computer, it gets pretty hot. It doesn't effect the overclock, but I don't feel too great about it either. You lose 1-3c over the tuniq with this, but it makes cooling the rest(RAM, northbridge) easier than with a tuniq or a scythe.
