4 sticks of ram doesnt work. Need help

I just bought these http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?...N82E16820231047 to add to my current 1 gig (2x512), see sig for "old" RAM and system details. I put in all four sticks but the system doesnt boot. The two set of ram will work separately but not together. I dont OC and all system are running default config. I know know why it doesnt work. Can some one help? Thanks.

Disable cpc and enable memory hole in bios.

will this take away the dual channel feature? i am hoping to run those two pairs in dual channel mode. Also what are those settings anyway?

 

Edit: where can i find the cpc? i found the memory hole

its on your dram configuration settings, right below dram frequency, no it will not take away dual channel.

it worked. I left cpc on auto and enable memory hold. Thanks for your helps.

I just noticed this morning that the computer see 1gig of ram instead of 3. I went in and disable the cpc but still the same. Any idea?

Is the programmed CAS latency the same between the 1Gb DC kit and the 2Gb DC kit?

 

You'll most likely need to first install one kit, read the CAS from SPD, uninstall that kit, and then install the other kit to read it. Use CPU-Z or the likes.
