sumasage Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I just bought these http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?...N82E16820231047 to add to my current 1 gig (2x512), see sig for "old" RAM and system details. I put in all four sticks but the system doesnt boot. The two set of ram will work separately but not together. I dont OC and all system are running default config. I know know why it doesnt work. Can some one help? Thanks.

wardog Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 Is the programmed CAS latency the same between the 1Gb DC kit and the 2Gb DC kit? You'll most likely need to first install one kit, read the CAS from SPD, uninstall that kit, and then install the other kit to read it. Use CPU-Z or the likes.
