Sound Card

I'm looking for a sound card. I found this one AuzenTech XMYSTIQUE7.1 7.1 Channels 24-bit. I DON'T want a Creative. That is the hole reason I'm geting a new sound card. I had the XFI & returned it for a full refund. So I nee a new one.

The one question you are going to be asked the most is what are you using the card for? Listening to music or other audio apps or are you using it for gaming?

Yeah, I would have kept the X-Fi... The only thing wrong with Creative is their bloated drivers... but they kinda go well with a bloated Windows kernel :-)

I'm not the biggest creative fan out there, and if other cards had the same linux support I'd go for one of those, but they dont... I've used my audigy 2 zs in linux and windows xp and have had 0 problems with it, you may want to reconsider and get one of those cards.

creative is shittttt. the envy24 chip is far better then it.. driver wise. haha

 

i suggest a chaintech AV-710 card. serves justice very very well.

either surround speakers, or headphones
