chuckcalo Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Hello I'm new here.. great forum btw=] These are my system specs: AMD X2 3600+ Manchester Socket 939 LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D (Latest BIOS - 2006/04/06) OCZ 1GB (512x2) Gold Edition VX EL Dual Channel PC4000 (DDR500) EVGA 7600GT KO PSU: Thermaltake TR2-430W CPU cooling: TT Mini Typhoon + AS3 Ok to the point.. I'm trying to get my X2 3600+ Manchester over 2.5GHZ stable.. the farthest i've gone is 2.43ghz with the following settings: Mem @ 2/2/2/6 - 202mhz / FSBRAM CPU/12 1T / 3.2 Volts Proc: 2430.6 MHZ x 9.0 HTT (270x9) HT Link @ 4x Bus Speed @ 270 Volt from 1.35ghz to 1.4 But this is not 100% stable.. I ran an ORTHOS Small test for 3 hours but it gave me an error, that hurts!.. Temps are 41C/43C idle and 55/60 load at these settings. I think they are very high, I'm using a Mini Typhoon with some thermal paste. The memory is kind of tricky, i think this is what is limiting me. Need your help, I know that this got a great potential. The 3600+ is a cpu that only comes with OEM or brand computers, which I got from TigerDirect.
