ram is at 3.4.4.8 .1t

im knot really sure what eles to do to make it a better or more stable oc so any thing you guys can do to help would be very helpful ............. .thanks

well i tryed ocdb but it failed ..it will pass at 2.9 but that is not 3.0 is it...dam i thought i had something here thanks for the help i really do take what you guys say and use it but this time my hard ware must not be up to it ..

maybe afer a little reading on how to use the dividers and all i might get to 3.0 or higher..thanks again guys

@Pont: Welcome..... Did ya' happen to get a look at the stepping and date,before ya' plugged er' in?

Also I was kinda' wondering what voltage you were needing for 2.9ghz.

The reason I'm asking is I just bought an XP4000 LCBBE 0643SPMW And I'm kinda' looking for data on it. So as I can decide what to do with it.

Yeah, I was curious about the voltage too. Also, I would drop your HT multiplier to 4x instead of 5x, that might help cure some issues with stability. Nice OC though man!!!!!

 

Have you checked out the overclocking guide yet? I found this to be the MOST resourceful piece of information when it comes to learning you stuff.

hi guys

no i didnt get the steppings when i installed the chip .but i will when i install

my new water block ..and as for the volts i havent change any thing so i guess there at stock settings for both the vcore and ram

Stock!!!! LOL...(ditto lol) It's probably a really good idea to do some reading in the overclockers guide especially concerning voltages and the +percents. Once inna' while someone cooks a proceesor.

what do you guys think of the exos system to cool my rig?

im only cooling the chip and dont really plan to do much eles

i got a line on one for 75 bucks so im kind of leaning that way

 

any help????
