Reset Configuration Data is in the BIOS, but like I said it's a long shot.

3 LEDs is an indication of ram.

Is your Sig up to date? Meaning are you still running 9 HD/DVD's and a pump also.

no sorry its not upto date i striped it out after it would boot all its running now is 1 hdds 1 dvd 1 pump and a load of fans.

I tried ram thinking it might have been that but couldnt get anything out of it

DOH i got my new bios chip today pluged it in and all im getting is 3 leds and single beeps so the ram is shagged iv tried 4 sticks all with the same result and just what i thought things couldnt get any worse DFI email me back tell me i cant send the board off.

 

OH MUMMY :sad:

Is the "DRAM Power LED " lit while it's powered on?

 

Have you tried placing the old video card back in and see if things change?

Good luck Cal... I had the *exact* same problem as you with an Ultra-D (even my video card was defective, heh) and I just now got the board back from RMA.

 

They had it for 1 day before sending it back marked "No charge". Nowhere did they say what they did (if anything), if it was defective, unrepairable... nothing.

 

I'll report back if their RMA dept ever responds to my email.:rolleyes:

I have to say i found them very good on RMA's mine was sent back fast and working but then it wasnt the same board so who knows :)

Update

 

Well i have got a second board from ebay and im now having the same probs but this time iv been a little luckyer iv been able to update the bios im just doing a cmos clear now fingers crossed
