snakemanuver Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I have been O/c my 3700 Sandiego for about 6 months now, with a ASUS A8N5X. I was able to reach 2.85GHz with it but Want to get the 3.0 and knew i couldnt get there without a more serious o/cer. So recently i purchased a LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR, with hopes to get there. I know that i have to lower my LDT/FSB so i don;t fry my HTT, and lower my ram ratio so the FSB doesnt max it out. I have done both with my new board, and cant even get a 2.4 GHz o/c, i just get to the verifying data pool screen then my computer restarts. What am i doing wrong? Do i need to play with the timings to? Or maybe voltages?
