Which 22" Widescreen

20" and 22" have the same resolution but the 20"'ers have a 'sharper' look to them as the pixels are smaller. Then again you might not notice the difference.

What are you planning to use the monitor for? Nowt much, Games, Videos - Photos, multi-apping?

I have been looking at that samsung monitor also. If you get it, lemme know how it works out.

One thing that i have noticed from reading around is that apparently there were 2 revisions of this monitor floating around. An 'S' version and an 'A' version, the S being better in terms of image quality. It might be something to look into if possible when ordering.

Here is a Bit-Tech Review.

There has been some debate on various forums over the last few weeks about the panel technology inside the 226BW. One of the best (and longest threads) is here. There appear to be two versions of this monitor - one designated 'S' and one 'A'. We have the S panel here for review, and some gamers have been reporting that the S is a higher quality image.

I think this is going to be my next purchase. Gonna need a few more pennies in the piggie bank though :P

@ EllisD, I may buy one in the next few days; afterwards I'll sell my 27" LCD TV.

I originally got a 27" LCD TV; but the low resolution on it (1280x720 native) just started bugging me. I'll probably be able to make a profit on the switch since the 27" has all the TV options such as PIP, Component video, etc. etc.
