pbcustom98 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 i bought the same monitor a few weeks ago for the same price. i love the monitor when i game on it. do NOT even try to sit close to it, because when i did (2-3') i started feeling sick..i would sit back at least a few feet. also, having a single x1900xt and this monitor is quite nice. i have played CS:S at native res, maxed settings at around a constant 100fps (with smoke nades it drops to around 75ish). with R6V, however, it wasnt all that great. with native res i think i played with medium settings. it was playable but there were some scenarios where i could get slide shows. *keep in mind* this is on a non O/Ced e4300, and a stock x1900xt. seeing that you have a 8800gts, you should do pretty well. cant wait for pics. OsamaBinAthlon+ Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 I just bought Rainbow Six Vegas it came today in the mail so I will install it later and see how it goes on the 8800gts. As of now it is on my desk with my keyboard right in front of it. It soon will be wall mounted and I will be a little further away.
