Talen Posted March 31, 2007 Hello! I have the motherboard in my signature and im facing a big anoying problem. Of course it concerns the northbridge. I have tried to attach den 05 sli with bracket that comes along, applied AC5 and so on. But still the temprature is crazy(around 52-idle). So all you other out that there how have you attached the HR 05 Sli? As I understand it, the bottom of the cooler isnt getting equal pressuare and therefore cousing the amount of heat. Jachyra007 Posted April 1, 2007 I've used two 1.5" bolts, nuts to fit, and plastic spacers to provide a mount through the mother board. That way you can screw the nuts down equally (make sure not to crush the chipset) and provide a better contact that the equipment that comes with the HR-05.
