Removing Thermal Pad from Chipset

See that yellow . that is stuck on the heatsink? That stuff was stuck on my chipset lol. What a pain in the butt that is to get off. How in the hell did you pull the heatsink off without getting that stuff stuck to the chipset Angry?

 

Mine came off all on the heat sink too. The trick is to get it off while it's still warm. In my case... well it was very warm because the machine was running. I was just feeling around and all of a sudden the thing rocked and pulled away from the chipset. :tooth:

Hot diggity damn its good to be back. I had to load the "last bootable CMOS config" or something like that though in the BIOS to get it to boot. Is that normal or alright?
