Splave Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Decided to spend $50 on the Celeron D 352 and have some fun with it! https://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetai...oductCode=80550 Threw it into my 680i board and noticed hmmm the Multi seems to be locked at 24x with no ways to unlock. Doesnt even show the option like it does with my e6600, e4300 or e6400.... using the p24 bios as the p25 is flaky. Anywhoo, pumped up the fsb to 670 qdr(mhz) at the 24x multi giving me 4.02ghz at 1.45v (droop already accounted for) and its priming away great for the last hour. Load is 51c idle is 29c on infinity air cooling. Any suggestions on how to unlock it? Or any at all, more volts, a dash of this a dash of that? Splave Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 ntune shows up to 28x but wont load on a reboot. Got it up to 4.2ghz so far though Oh it will burn What do you think safe max volts on air is, 1.55? 1.6? load of 75-77 range anything higher is no good?? Guest YuKoN Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 i have very good air cooling and i cringe when temps get above 51-52C. 70+ is probably not good- but if it keeps chugging along........... are you needing more than 1.55v? i would think that to be sufficient for that chip to hit it's max- but of course every chip is different. try and see- ??? she's gonna burn up for sure lol- have fun!
