joel_jsn Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I read in this forum that some other people had issue with the ATX connector that was not making good contact. And the PC kept turning of when they touched the connector. Â Thasp and I both had issues with the ATX connector but it wasn't anything wrong with the mobo...it was our power supplies. I just bent the pins on my PSU's ATX connector back into shape and all is well.
Branjo Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Try giving all your components an extra bump in voltage, maybe something isnt getting enough. I read the constant rebooting is the BIOS trying to configure itself to the supplied voltage. I would RMA it to newegg they seem to do things a lot quicker going by customer reviews if indeed an RMA is the way to go
1dr1ft Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 when it does run, my ram is set to 2.1v, then it is pursue by the problem. then the next time it works again, i bump it to 2.15v and still have problem. resetting bios don't work anymore. so i cant even get it to boot anymore. momoceio Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 That RAMs specs are 2.2-2.4 volt... Â I run mine at 2.
1dr1ft Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 it says 2.0v - 2.1v on the stick of ram. but i'll try 2.2v-2.4v if i can get it to boot.

Don't put more juice in it then it's rated for. My HZ are 2.2-2.4 but I'm also running the PC1000 HZ. I haven't experienced any of the issues that you're having though. 1dr1ft Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 it gave me this problem right out of the box. first boot up was like this. turn on turn off. other people didn't have this problem with the same setup. i thought it was other components so i waited for the other stuff to replace, but same issue. going to rma. hopefully the next one will work. Coors Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Yeah hopefully you just got a faulty board. What revision was it and what bios? Mines priming right now at 3150mhz w/ 1.4v.
