recovered windows image problem help

hi,

i recovered an image becaue i wanted to put windows xp on my SATA drive and i had imporant files on there but i thought ifi just put it on an image file and recover it onto the SATA drive it will be all fine.

but now the image in the bios shows that its on the E: drive and now i get the error NTLDR missing so i did those copy instructions i found online

 

copy e:i386ntldr c:

copy e:i386ntdetect.com c:

 

now i just want to verify with you guys if i'm doing it right my CD drive is I: my os drive is E:

do i do it like this

 

copy I:i386ntldr E:

copy I:i386ntdetect.com E:
