dpoverlord Posted February 26, 2007 So for a multi-use is there a big difference for CPU/ GPU's b/w AS5 and the ceramique version?
MACarter02 Posted February 26, 2007 eh, get the silver. ceramique is for scaredy-cats also, if you need to fix ramsinks or anything like that arctic adhesive is amazing.
Guest MadDias Posted February 26, 2007 i just love my 12gr as5 tube so far i coverd 2x cpu´s 2x x1800gpu´s + vram´s and i think i didn´t even use 1/3 of that tube.. i´ll never have to buy a thermalpaste again, this amount lasts for years...
red930 Posted February 26, 2007 I put Ceramique on my GPU and am getting idle temperatures of 49C at 30% fan speed... pretty happy. I would go with Ceramique... What about MX1? lol
Syngensmyth Posted February 27, 2007 The Ceramique is none conductive so people use it where things are a bit tricker. Video cards for example. AS5 seems to be the choice for CPU's. I just run with the herd and hope the croc. eats someone else first. Edit: Crap! I'm always eating my words. Apparently AS5 is not conductive either. Big Thanks to THEnumber337 for pointing this out. PS. Danger Den video needs a tad editing.
