NF590 SLI-M2R/G ( Need help OCing )

Recommended Posts

WOW I just got this Mobo last night and I am really stumped as to what all this stuff is . I have had DFI mobo's for a long time but this is my first AM2 mobo and I need your help .

I can not figure out a thing in this bios I would like to OC my 4000+ but there is like 5 different HTT setting and none of them seem to be the FSB or like a NF4 setup at all .

Is there any one here that can help me get started ?

OK run down of what I have :

AM2 4000+ (2mb's L2 cache ) . one GB corsair VS ram.

DFI NF590 SLI-M2R/G mobo .

Really need your help Please .

I havent had a lot of time to dedicate to figureing it all out myself yet. What did you find out to help you get such a nice OC? I dont need a how too but would definately like some more info, I played around a few times but never got anything stable at all.

I am coming from an NFII board and this is much more confusing and a hassle than I remember that being.

Basically I did this . I took the RAM and put it @ 200MHz (this is cheep value RAM and 667 MHz stuff at that ) . I then put the voltage on every thing up one click and some I did 2 clicks on . Then I lowered the HT link to 3X and upped the CPU to 3.0GHz ! wallah .
