Kingfisher Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I am putting together a PC for my Mom, she is going from a dell dimension 4400( socket 478, 2.0ghz Northwood) to socket 939 ( ASUS A8V-VM SE mATX). I ordered her an Opteron 165( hit the jackpot from Newegg with CCBBE 0610 stepping). The case is a Antec Minuet. For those of you looking for a really nice mATX case, this one is a sleeper. It is fantastic looking and very small and comes with Antec 300w power. Only 15 amps on the 12volt rail but for a mATX it's more than plenty. She uses it mainly for her business and the idea of her with a possible 3ghz cpu at stock speeds is pretty humorous. Anywho, as I said, if there are folks looking for a beautiful micro case, this is a unit to consider.
vaio Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I prefer the NSK 2400 myself and it comes with a solid efficient psu.
