DFI Ultra-D and zalman 9700??

i just want to ask if anyone here using ULtra D mobo and a zalman 9700?

i just want to know if the Ultra-D can handle the weight of the 9700?

 

and i also want to know the distance between the HSF and the VC..

I know there are people on the board using the 9700. I wouldn't think it would pose too much of a problem as I've seen people use some real heavy coolers. If your temps are real high it could indicate that the unit is pulling away from the CPU, and in that case you can prop it up with wire or fishing line. It's especially not a problem if you're not moving the case around too much.

i already have the 9700 but i havent installed it yet on my system

im still confused if the mobo can handle the weight of the cooler..

if not ill get the 9500 version
