TheReaper Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Ok the GT sounds good. Thanks all for your answers. The software updates are the fire in which we burn and the constant need to ugrade hardware is the extremely flamable foam. ;p What difference does it really make as to the cards own memory, I mean I made the mistake of assuming 512mb ati card would be better then 256mb nvidia before, I found this card: http://xfxforce.com/web/product/listConfig...eriesId=1443539 Should I go for 8800 320mb, 512mb, 700mb??? wevsspot Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Personally I think the 8800GT 512mb card hits the sweet spot. But they are all selling at price points higher than I think they will be at in a couple of months (supply and demand at work here). If you could you might wait for a bit and see what 1st Quarter 2008 brings in the way of pricing.
