aleck Posted February 17, 2007 Posted February 17, 2007 motherboard: nforce4 ultra-d memory:xtreem pc4000 TCCD (2-2-2-5) In the bios i can set ram's voltage to 2.5v, but the real vol showing in the bios actually is 2.68v, almost 2.7, i know the rams can perform with 2.6v, i want to set them with low voltage because they are too hot....there is some way to lower the vol.? Kingfisher Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Your RAM voltage settings are inside Genie BIOS. Should say DRAM voltage control or something.
Guest Radiohead Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 With TCCD chips a bit of voltage isn't gonna hurt them. As for the heat they should be just fine so long as your case is well ventilated. Just my 2 cents.
