Recommended Posts

Stress level is pretty high right now :D

(This always happens with Linux, another "carbon based" error) :)

I may have to try this weekend

Didn't see anything about extraction.

It does tell me I do not have VMware Tools installed.

After ****u loads I go to VM and select Install VMware tools and then it sort of sits there looking at me like I'm real stupidbut the tools never seem to load.

When does the FUN part of Linux happen?

Should be some blood with this much pain.:)

w00t - seems to be working just fine here. :)

Sure hopeing that TheNumber337 and likewhoa can keep an eye on this thread.

Your help was awesome.

Boneheads like me get extremely frustrated over this Linux thing

Fortunately for me, there were no loaded weapons in the house last night :tooth:

(yes, yes, I know I messed up on following the instructions)

I, soundx98, do solemnly swear, that I will READ and FOLLOW,

the instructions given to me by others,

before I start whining like a little girl or a gaye caballero,

that needs a good biatch slap. :D

I'll definitely keep an eye on it although I don't know much Linux at all besides the part in the guide. What protein do you have there? It looks like it might be a 2604? Just scroll up the log to find out. What CPU are you running it on?

It's 2605 on an Opteron 170 at 290x10 (Soundx98 bows deeply to Praz)

Just figured out that a Control+C doesn't copy it closes the VM down.

Gonna be a while until I get used to this even with the training wheels. :D

this is the 3rd time I have started it LOL, but it looks like 20 min

Good or Bad?

Does VMware Tools make it faster?

Tweaks?
