Sp2004

Recommended Posts

I was running SP2004 and when I looked at my temps everything looked good but the PWMIC in my MBM dashboard it was up to 59c.

I am not sure what it is and if that is to high for it go to, so I closed the program down.

And do I have to run SP2004 for 24 hours to say that my overclock is stable?

I did prime 95 today for 11 hours but I didn't check my PWMIC temps if they were that high for 11 hours would that damage anything?

No the PWMIC can hit 60+ whicle being stressed.

Many use a small fan aimed at it to keep it cooler.

You aren't hurting it :)

Use SP 2004 (single core) or Orthos (Dual Core) and complete an 8 hour run to check for stability.

Then follow it up with some 3D tests and some gaming.

If you can complete an OCDB (Overclocking DataBase Entry) I'd consider it stable.
