Video Card Water Block: Swiftech MCW60 (Bought from Nightshadow)

 

Radiator: BlackIce GTS 240 (Bought from Nightshadow)

Tubing: 13' Tygon 3603 Tubing 1/2" ID 3/4" OD (Ordering when I have money, 13 is my fav number)

 

Water Additives: 12oz Zerex Super Coolant (Ordering when I have money)

 

Fillport: Danger Den Fillport + Poly "T" (Ordering when I have money)

 

Clamps: 14 Plastic Snap Tubing Clamps (Ordering when I have money, 14 just incase)

 

Ramsinks: Zalman RAMsinks for Video Cards (Ordering when I have money)

 

Accessories: Fill Syringe + Green UV Water Dye-Lite (Ordering when I have money)

 

What do you think? Anything that isn't bought yet (says which aren't) can be changed. Keep in mind that I am already spending more than I should so don't add much more cost to the equation.

Regarding the RAMsinks;

You might consider getting some Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive as well; Most RAMsinks come with frag tape applied, but this isn't as effective as the AS. Just mix some AS5 1:1 with the ASTA and you'll still be able to remove the sinks in the future.

Another question. Where should I mount my rad in my case? I have a NZXT Lexa. Here are some side views of my rig:

This case is for sale (see sig) so Im not modding it in any way so I will probably mount it on the back somehow. But when I get my new full tower case (probably CM Stacker but want Silverstone TJ09-BW) I will cut it up and mount it on the top inside.

 

So where in or on this case without modding should I mount my rad?

Not really anywhere on the back panel to mount the RAD. If this is a temporary setup; why not run the tubing to the outside and somehow affix the RAD externally?

 

Another comment;

If you're going to get a new case soon anyhow, why bother installing the H2O in the current case? Especially if you might end up needing more tubing since the sizes that would be necessary for this case might be too short for the new case.

Well it will sort of be a long term temporary setup lol. After the cost of all the water cooling parts and then I am also buying a car in a few months so funds are low. I will just order more tubing along with the new case.

 

I just don't want to mod my case cuz I'm selling it.
