Likwid Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 After looking at current retail prices: Mobo:..........$130 Ram:.............245 (DDR500 ram hard to find - current Mushkin Extreme price) CPU:.............193 (take a chance on what stepping you get) Total Retail:..$568 My price including shipping - $
tasr Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hello, Those prices are basically for NEW components. Why should people buy this, if they can go on line and get brand new with full warranties? Is there any chance of you coming down in price?
suedenim Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 New Cpu - take a chance on stepping but all in warranty. All of your gear out of warranty(?), and what guarantees on shipping damage? This is not the place to "slightly" undersell the online retailers. I'm not dictating pricing to you but you may got a lot more interest on eBay at your prices... Got any feedback ratings anywhere? Good Luck in any case...
Likwid Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 OBO = Or Best Offer. As for warranties, just talked to DFI and they will RMA up to 90 days after re-sale, AMD will RMA for 3 years, OCZ Ram has a lifetime warranty. I went through quite a few Opteron 165, 170, and 175 chips to get this one. It was worth it to me. What is it worth to you? This my first time selling on-line, period - I guess you have to start somewhere! I will try to do whatever it takes to make the buyer comfortable with the sale, including pictures, shipping insurance, tracking, my phone #, etc. My bottom line is - I am pretty happy with my current rig, so my only motivation to sell is making enough to off-set some of the upgrade cost and stay out of divorce court! Likwid Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 OK - I am currently using these components and will continue using them until they are sold. Do you want to see pictures of them installed in the case? If a serious offer is made and I accept, I will immediately disassemble, take as many pictures as you want, and ship as soon as the $ hits my paypal account.
