C2D build help greatly needed!

hey i am building a C2D...

 

here is the core parts i have selected...

 

GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3

 

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6600

 

pqi TURBO 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PQI24200-2GDB

 

i will look into the other parts after i get these locked in. i am going to over clock it....like i wouldn't...lol

 

btw i know nothing about the ram or how good it is...i just picked on that i thought might be good.

 

i chose the board becasue i trust "Angrys" opinion.

 

the chip, well made the most sence.

reason: got it off the powersupply tread, Angry tested and approved it, don't need much power, not gaming or sli

 

if ANYONE has had issues with any of these products please inform me and suggestions on replacing any of them would be great.

also, check out the x1600xt on newegg made by saphire, it is the same price as the 6600 you picked out, but will give better performance.... there is also a 7600 gt on newegg made by bfg with a giant rebate putting it in the same price range which will perform even better for less than $100
